Contact Tracing – How It Works

Contact Tracing
The Liber platform uses the latest contact tracing technology to enhance your awareness of potential risks. This technology anonymously logs the distance between your phone and other phones nearby that also have contact tracing apps installed – using Bluetooth Low Energy.
This proximity data (sharing how close you are to others) allows for an assessment of who may have been exposed to coronavirus. You can then take action to protect yourselves, the people you care about and the NHS.
We use this data – and other information securely gathered from verified sources – to help you navigate those risks in an informed way.
